Dr. Ariza actually grew up in NYC, but he’s enjoying every part of living in Wisconsin so far! He also feels proud to work with such an incredibly well-trained and friendly team here at Silver Creek Dentistry. During his early years, his family always emphasized the importance of education and giving back to the community. Dentistry has allowed him to pursue a lifetime of learning while providing a service that directly improves his patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Ariza’s dental career started in undergrad, when he completed the Summer Medical and Dental Program (SMDEP) at Columbia University, followed by the Summer Academic Enrichment Program (SAEP) at Virginia Commonwealth University. These programs allowed him the chance to take graduate-level courses while also experiencing the hands-on laboratory work like taking impressions, placing sutures, and using a handpiece. From there, he completed dental school at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he took a keen interest in CAD/CAM dentistry and was accepted into the CEREC clerkship. Since then, he has continued to pursue new education through courses in occlusion, esthetic restorations, endodontics, and more.
Dr. Ariza has three older brothers and one younger sister. When he isn’t busy at the office, you can usually find him on the lookout for something new to try! He likes longboarding, surfing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, and running. He also knows his way around computers; he’s built his own and is always open to helping others who want to build one too. Above all else, he does his best to keep an open mind and stay out of his comfort zone as much as possible.
